A Fist Full of Credits adventure details: Not for players. |
|
RPG Home Page |
Waste World Lite: A Fist Full Of Credits, published by Manticore Productions Limited, is a complete role-playing adventure game. These html pages are an edited version of that book. The background and rules appear in the same form as the book, and these contain everything you need to play except dice. (You will need some twenty sided dice and some normal six sided dice.) The difference between these html pages and the book is that most of the book's images have been left out to speed viewing, and only the first adventure of the book's three part mini-campaign is included here. This is self contained, however, so you won't find the action ending 'mid-sentence'. It's a bit like the demo for Doom.
To play you will also need a group of two to nine people. Six people is the
optimal number. One person should be chosen to run the game. This person
is known as the Narrator. The Narrator should read through all these pages
and familiarize himself with the rules. He should read the adventure as well.
It would be helpful, but is not essential, for the rest of the group to read
the rules and background outlined in sections 1-7. Once the Narrator is confident
that he understands how things work, he should let the players choose one
character template each from section 6. Character templates can be assigned
on the basis of who likes the characters, who rolls the highest on the dice,
or simply randomly dealt out. Once players have read their character template,
you are ready to begin.
A Fist Full Of Credits contains a complete ready-to-run adventure which can be used with Waste World RPG. If you already own Waste World RPG then you’ll already be familiar with the rules given in Waste World Lite. They are basically a cut-down version of the rules in the main game. If you don’t already use the rules for automatic weapons given in the Forceshield and Campaign Pak, you’ll find them in here. We recommend you use them since they are faster than the rules in the Waste World RPG. Other than that, you should have little difficulty in adapting A Fist Full Of Credits to Waste World RPG. The only real difference is that advantages and special powers have been run together into one category known as special abilities. Some advantages and special powers have been simplified in line with the less detailed rules in Waste World Lite. When running A Fist Full Of Credits with Waste World RPG, you should use the Waste World RPG advantages and special powers of the same name.
That’s it. Have fun!

The HTML edition of Waste World Lite: A Fist Full of Credits is an edited
down version of the published book, but still contains the WWL rules and
a complete adventure ready to play. Waste World Lite is, in turn, a
simplified starter version of Waste World: Role
Playing in a Savage Future, which - so people tell us - is excellent
and great fun to play.
