Eleanor's Tennyson Interiours

In the attic is a crib, dresser, night table and bed that Eleanor picked up at a Dollar Store. She spray-painted the pieces white. Not shown in the photo is a blue toy box.

In the attic is a bed which is a bit smaller than 1/12th scale, but it works well as a child's bed. (Look at the photo of two beds side-by-side).

Eleanor made the bedspreads out of embroidered hankies and trimmed them with some scraps of lace. The pot for the flowers was made from a cap from a toothpaste tube.

All the curtains in the bedroom are made from lace. Eleanor topped the valences in the master bedroom with pink ribbons and pink bows.

In the living room, Eleanor covered the windows with sheer grey pleated fabric, and topped them with a valence made from box-pleated trim. The window treatments are held in place with velcro.

The sofa and set of end tables were also purchased at the dollar store for a buck apiece.

There was a ghost in the living room at the time the photograph was taken, which prevented the pattern of the wallpaper from being captured on film. The wallpaper has a striped pattern and is rose and grey. The carpet is grey and the upholstery Eleanor used on the sofa is rose.

Some of the rooms in this dollhouse look a bit bare, but I am sure that Pamela will be filling it in no time!
