That 70's Basement
The plumbing was the most difficult part of the project.
The pipes were installed by the homeowner. The pipes are run on the surface
of the wall, since they cannot be run inside a cinderblock wall.
Hot and cold water hoses run to the washer, and have their own shut-off
valves.
On the tub is a drain plug and a bar of soap. The drain hose from the washer
drapes over the edge of the tub.
These are some of the accessories in the laundry room. I made everything
from scratch. Everything in the laundry room was made from scratch.
The ironing board has folded towels and a sweater on it. The legs of the
ironing board fold.
A macramé owl hangs on the wall by the washtub.
