Alice's Porch, page 2
Although there wasn't much area to do landscaping, the porch did need flowers. There is room for 4 hanging
baskets of flowers. Two planters of fuchsias hang from the part of the porch that has already been painted.
Two other planters have been taken down.

In front of the porch is a neglected flower bed. The homeowner did plant some annuals, but they aren't
growing very fast. The perennials seem to be doing okay.

Day lilies, dusty millers, and a petunia share a bed with some dandelions and some stray clumps of grass.

More dusty millers, a geranium (leaves provided by my friend Jan), and a Shasta daisy. Tulips bloomed in the spring, and were deadheaded,
but the homeowner has been too busy to remove the dry, lifeless stems and leaves.

On the other side of the steps is another clump of day lilies and a dandelion that has gone to seed.
